Lonoke continues their season taking a win against the Beebe Badgers with a score of 30-8. These boys have been putting in hard work since before the season started, working during off season and practicing everyday. The hard work has been showing off as they have won their two beginning of the season games. As D’Mareon Eason (9) states “It made me feel like I was improving.” The season definitely hasn’t been easy, but their hard work has been paying off and they are very proud of the accomplishments they have made as a team.
No sport is ever easy, especially with how exhausting it can be. These boys have been playing games back to back. Even with all of the practicing and work that goes behind all of these games, they still leave everything out on the field no matter how tired they may be. They always make sure to put in the effort. Coach Morris states “It was a weird week. We only had Monday to practice, so we had to get through Monday and then we came back on Tuesday to mentally prepare ourselves. We did out best today!” On our offense, Coach Jackson said that “…between Rian Lewis (9) and Jonathan Hixon (9), they’ve both had a pretty monster game.”
After these back-to-back wins, the Junior High Jackrabbits are excited for the upcoming game Thursday September, 7th at Fountain Lake. All the players feel that this season is going to be “10-0.” This week of games was very busy and eventful which helped boost their confidence. We’re hoping you come and support!
