Last night, Thursday, April 27th, 2023 was the LHS baseball senior night versus Catholic High School. Jonathan Lewis stated, “I was excited most about all the energy, along with sharing senior night with my fellow seniors.” All of the seniors were recognized with a shadow box filled with a jersey and some pictures. The parents of seniors were gifted with a bouquet of flowers. All around senior night is the last home game for baseball. “The saddest thing about senior night is that I know all my friends are leaving,” Tripp Sullivan stated. Seniors were able to cherish the two innings of their very last home game with their teammates. Junior, Jaxson Ingle, stated that, “My favorite memory with the seniors is that I’m going to miss the bus rides the most and when we went to Gulf Shores for the baseball tournament.” Unfortunately, the game got cancelled after two innings with a score of 0 to 0 due to severe weather. Senior night was a night that the players will cherish and never forget the memories they made.
