Lonoke High School’s senior class attended Arkansas State University Beebe, on Thursday, October 14, 2021. As the school year is flying by, it is important for the senior class to be exploring their college options. Seniors got the opportunity to meet with numerous different college advisors from colleges all over the state. They thought of the trip as very beneficial to their senior year in many ways. Even for those seniors who don’t plan on specifically attending ASU Beebe for college, they were provided with a great amount of information regarding other colleges around the state. Senior, Kaitlin Bailey, stated, “It was beneficial to my senior year because of how much information I was able to get from just one short trip.” The trip provided the senior class with endless opportunities and information to better prepare them for college. Although Senior, Halie Ashley, plans on attending A-State in Jonesboro to study radiology, she expressed the importance of exploring all her college options. Halie Ashley stated, “This trip helped me to prepare for college because I got to meet representatives from universities all over the state…” Overall the seniors had a great trip and can’t wait to see what the rest of their senior year brings!
