On Monday, February 20th, Lonoke High School revealed its plans for a talent show at the school. Student council members created the announcements for that morning which included the details for the talent show and the auditions. Audition sign-ups have been sent out and students must get a parent to sign their permission slip to enter. Actual auditions will be held the week of February 27th through March 3rd. These tryouts will be recorded and students must describe their attire for the event to ensure appropriate performances occur. The talent show was announced to be on March 17th during the school day and students who wish to attend will have to pay $1 to watch the participants. A few examples of accepted acts include singing, dancing, playing an instrument, performing a comedy skit, and more talents that students hope to showcase. There are three categories for winners. There is a students’ choice award, teachers’ choice award, and judges’ choice award. Make sure to sign up to audition or attend the talent show because the student council has worked hard to make this event happen!
