Lonoke High School football team participated in a weight competition on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in the LHS field house. 16 LHS students competed against students from Carlisle, Perryville, and Mayflower. A lot of preparation went into the competition. Tayler Coffey stated, “Nobody realizes how many times you have to suffer defeat by yourself in order to come out victorious in the end.” Tayler mentioned that he enjoyed listening to his teammates’ names being called out for placing and receiving the top medal in his weight class. Lonoke ended up taking home first place in the competition, with an overall total of 4,425 pounds lifted. Congratulations!
