Tuesday, February 15, 2022, Senior High boys and girls basketball teams faced off against Estem for the home senior night basketball games! The purple pit was full of students. It was one of the biggest purple pits of the basketball season. Junior, Susie Moysh, stated, “I have worked really hard getting people to the purple pit for basketball. I was overwhelmed and happy that my hard work is starting to pay off.” The senior high girls dominated Estem 61-49! After a close 4th quarter, the boys dominated with a 66-63 win over Estem! Junior basketball player, Latrell Burnett, mentioned, “It felt like a lot of pressure for me because I had a bad start with two fouls in the first quarter and then ended up with four the start of the fourth. But I had to overcome adversity and finish out for the team.” The seniors were recognized in between the games, as well. Way to go rabbits!
