Friday, November 5, 2021, LHS Cross Country attended the state meet in Hot Springs, AR.

Cross Country has had a very successful season. Several students have ranked high throughout the season. Cross Country is running long distances over open country, typically during the fall season. The Lonoke High School cross country team consisted of 9 members this season, as well as their awesome coach, Mrs. Stephanie Hamilton. Freshmen all the way to Seniors have competed hard and well throughout the season. Freshman, JT Stuart said, ” The people in it… it’s pretty fun with your friends, running and talking to them. Practice together.” Cole Krablin is a Junior who enjoys competing in cross country. Krablin attended the state meet and he expressed, “What made Cross Country fun was competing at the meets and meeting new people. Coach Hamilton made cross country enjoyable because she would take us somewhere to eat after each meeting.” Congratulations to the Lonoke High School Cross Country team! Until next season!
