Lonoke High School’s FBLA members attended their District V fall conference on October 26, 2021. This was FBLA’s first in-person conference since COVID, so to express that they were excited was an understatement. Lonoke had 8 active FBLA members and one advisor attend the conference, which was held at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Students got the opportunity to listen to the keynote speakers. The students also got the opportunity to play a game at the end with one of the speakers. Lonoke sophomore, Charles Hunter, won third place out of over 325 participants in the game and received a gift card. FBLA President and LHS Senior, Kaitlin Bailey, participated in the walk of presidents to represent Lonoke High School. Now, FBLA is preparing to compete in the District V Spring Conference, as well as begin some service projects. There was a total of 39 districts and over 750 people who attended the conference. Overall, the FBLA conference was a lot of fun and the members are very excited to compete in the Spring conference.

President, Kaitlin Bailey.
